Gonna be taking a few days off here pretty soon -- anyone lookin for some extra chores and money, the horses're gonna need tending to while I ain't here.

That ghost in the machine the last week or so's a kid named Geoff. Don't know what his mutation is, but it got him stuck inside a computer, from what I can tell, and somehow he got spit out over here. I think I just shoved him out of one and into the computer lab on the second floor, but I think one of ya'll can get there faster than I can, I was outside when I did it.

I figure it'd be a right good idea to try and get some Christmas cheer back in this place, specially since ya'll're all supposed to be on vacation right now. I say we get a couple of the school vans and go ice skating down at Rockefeller Center. Anyone's welcome to come, I'll even get ya'll hot chocolate there.

Lord, these horses are fit to be tied. Think we need to set up a system where someone checks on us every few days for them so they don't have to break down stall doors to get to their food. Still missin two right now, think they ran off through that forest. Anyone good at ridin want to help me track em down, it'd be much appreciated.

Got your stables all in order, horses all settled and ready for any of you all ya'll that wanna come out. There's some rules though. Gotta show respect for the animals and the equipment, put things back where you got em from, don't trash the place up. If you take a horse out, you gotta cool em down when you get back, and clean and put up their tack. These horses are all broken in and used to ridin and they're all pretty good tempered, so you don't need to be afraid. Don't wanna find out about any rough treatment on em neither. You're gonna want to wear long pants and hard shoes if you want to ride, and it's always a good thing to have a treat to give em if you're stoppin by. There's a bucket filled with sugar cubes and some carrots and alfalfa and all that too, but they're also partial to apples and hay if you want to grab some of that instead.
If you know how to ride and want to take one out, you gotta come out with me first, show me you know how to put the tack on and guide em around. If you don't, I'll be happy to teach you, just lemme know. If you're cleared to ride the horses, let me know which ones you're taking out and when so I can keep a headcount. Any of them are up for use, except Chopper, he's mine.

Hey you all ya'll, my name's Johnny Carolina. You all goddamned power Ya'll just got some new horses, and I'll be looking after them. They're still getting settled in down there, but you all ya'll can go see them if you want, they won't bite. Found out I was a mutant back in college, but didn't know places like this were around. Professor Xavier told me I'm a cyberpath, means my head does all kinds of weird stuff with computers and things like that. Anyone else got something like that?
